How Do I Include Supporting Files/Folders When I Build My Application?

The Standalone Resources tab enables you to specify additional files to include when you deploy your application. This may include readme files, documentation, database drivers or SSL dlls.

The Standalone Resources Tab

The Standalone Resources tab lists all files that will be included when you build a GLX Application for deployment.

1) This column displays the relative path of the file in relation to your application's root folder.

2) This column displays the relative path of the file when you deploy your application.

3) This column lists the platforms that the file will be deployed on.

Adding A File/Folder

To add a file or folder click on the Add Folder or Add File button and select the folder or file you would like to add.

Specify Relative Path

Next, specify path relative to the root application folder where you would like to store this file when building your application.

Note: You can use the variable [[APPLICATION]] when specifying the relative output folder (2) if you want the file to be stored inside of the application bundle on OS X.

Answer Questions

Now you need to answer a series of questions. Click Yes if you want to include the file in OS X distributions.

Then click Yes to include the file in Windows distributions.

If you want to include the file when deploying a standlone then click Yes.

If you want to include the file when deploying an auto update click Yes.
